That email is pure Cheap-Labor-Conservative propoganda!
Yes, there is no draft in this country, but many of grunts in the Armed Forces are there because they have no other financial choice. They may not have been forced at gunpoint, but they were forced by a system created by the conservative agenda.
Just because they are “volunteers” does not give the president the right to abuse them for political reasons. Those we have “helped” ended up being corrupt and have taken advantage of their new-found freedom. Regardless of how they came to be there, why help those that aren’t willing to help themselves?
We’re damned if we stay and damned if we leave, so why waste another brave solidier’s life?
